With an academic foundation in Hydro Engineering from Tbilisi, Georgia, and a second degree in Business Development from the UK, Shota combines technical knowledge with strategic market insight to deliver impactful solutions across multiple sectors.
His career includes significant achievements in the oil and gas industry, where he served as Quality Manager at Petrofac, overseeing pipeline projects with a strong focus on compliance and operational excellence. He later advanced to key leadership roles, including Regional Director at United Energy Distribution Company (UEDC) and Deputy Director at Kutaisi AE Solar Factory, contributing to large-scale energy distribution and solar manufacturing operations.
As General Director of AE Solar International Worldwide Sales Office, Shota managed global operations and developed international markets, establishing AE Solar as a competitive player in the renewable energy sector. In parallel, he served as Regional Sales Director for Africa and the Middle East, driving market expansion and forging strategic partnerships across emerging energy markets.
In addition, Shota actively represents the renewable energy industry at international exhibitions and trade forums, strengthening global collaborations and promoting sustainable energy solutions. His ability to bridge technical innovation with business strategy has positioned him as an influential leader in the clean energy sector.

With over 9 years in the renewable energy sector, Giorgi has played a pivotal role in advancing solar energy adoption worldwide. He has successfully managed and executed projects exceeding 5 GW in photovoltaic sales, providing high-quality solutions and services to international clients across multiple markets.

Habibollah Bakhtiari
Dr. Habibollah Bakhtiari is a leading authority in photovoltaic systems and advanced nanotechnology, with over two decades of experience driving innovation in renewable energy and sustainable engineering. With a Ph.D. in Condensed Matter Physics and a strong foundation in water and mechanical engineering, his multidisciplinary expertise sets him apart as a pioneer in clean tech development.
He has contributed significantly to solar innovation through his work on graphene-based nanosystems, semiconductors, and thin-film solar cells. As Senior Technical Specialist at AE Solar GmbH, Dr. Bakhtiari has led the design and supervision of photovoltaic projects, provided technical training for global teams, and advised investors on clean energy infrastructure.
His research, supported by Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation grants, has resulted in over a dozen scientific publications, as well as patented inventions including a photo-transforming device, micro-crystal battery, and laser-plasma solid-state film technology.
